The ninth hole par five is on two levels, the wide fairway is inviting and a well struck tee-shot may make it over the hill. Tee shot - Hole 9 Par 5 The second shot generally played from the top of the hill down towards the green on the lower level.
The fairway will move any running ball from left to right.
Second shot - Hole 9 Par 5
For the approach you will generally have a mid to short iron, the slope just in front of the green
foreshortens the approach - make sure you give it enough.

Ogbourne Downs Golf Club

Ogbourne Downs Golf Club is only 8 miles south of Swindon in Wiltshire on the Marlborough Downs, just a few miles from the historic market town of Marlborough and just off junction 15 on the M4.

In the summer, the hard bouncy fairways and fast greens offers a stiff test of golf especially when the wind blows.
