Ogbourne Downs Golf Club located between Swindon and Marlborough, 3 miles from junction 15 of the M4, is one of the finest Downland Golf Courses in Wiltshire. It's fast draining, always open with never a temporary tee or green and boasts fabulous views. Designed by five time Open Championship winner J.H. Taylor, the holes are set amidst 200 acres of glorious downland terrain which make for a fantastic game of golf.

just a note to ask you to congratulate Sanjay and his great team for a wonderful night last night. The food was really sensational - not only did it taste great but it looked great too. The service was excellent and we just thought the whole evening was really outstanding. Thank you!
Sport man evening - Brian Moore A big well done yet again for organising such a wonderful night entertainment with Brian Moore in the club house. As with the Nigel Owens and Ron "chopper" Harris, night this was again well managed, the food and service provided was exceptional which was played out in such wonderful surroundings. All the organisers and the staff on the night should be really proud of themselves and I feel compelled to let you know this. I hope with the same passion, you consider holding another event in 2016. Thank you so much.
Enjoyed our golf at Ogbourne Downs this year in early October. Looks likely we will be returning next year. All of our players remarked on the general improvements you have made and standards of tee boxes and greens. Welldone all concerned !
A stunning course with fantastic views across the Wiltshire landscape. Well designed and challenging holes. Fast, responsive greens and well kept fairways Friendly, courteous members made us, as visitors feel very welcome.
Excellent course though physically quite challenging for older players. Very well maintained and good facilities.
Great course in all weathers, even after heavy rain you can play this course with no problems. Quite hilly so its a tough walk. Lots of elevations so uphill and downhill shots which require some thought. All in all a decent course, clubhouse is a little old fashioned though.
Cracking J H Taylor designed downland course . Very enjoyable & great to play on a sunny Winters' day. Excellent greens & allround condition. Lovely ,springy fairway turf. Initially ,when you arrive ,the course doesn't reveal too much as you just see a couple of holes going up slopes but then from the 1st & 10th you subtly meander across & up (overall ,it is quite tough on the ol' legs ) to reach the top of the course where there are extensive views...
Fantastic course, definately my favourite course in the south west
Rating this course is some what difficult as it has everything a golfer would ask for every day different and many different holes enjoyed this course very much and will play again.
An interesting course and overall a very enjoyable venue to visit. Views once on the top are amazing but does mean wind and weather will always be part of a round here. The fairways and greens were in good condition and the greens, although a little slow, were true and pleasingly most were absent of pitch marks... ...Overall a good day and worth a trip.
Stiff but Enjoyable Challenge My second visit - 3 years in between. Seniors Open this time. A very enjoyable course with good variety of holes and excellent views from the numerous elevations. All in excellent condition. Many of the holes are high up which today resulted in a 3club breeze/wind - add in lightning fast greens and a real challenge was presented. The members are a friendly bunch. Well worth a visit if you are in the area - just 5 minutes from M4J15.
