
A fabulous, challenging downland course set on the Marlborough Downs, a true gem.
Over its history and in its many incarnations, the Club has achieved many successes. The ladies have won the Wiltshire Team shield on many occasions with Mrs Janet Greenland (later Curnick) and Miss Claire Waite being the stand-out individuals in those teams.
Janet Greenland was Ladies County Champion five times in the 50s. Claire has success in the Wiltshire County Ladies Championships, The English Ladies (Close) Championship, the British Strokeplay Championship and in 1984, a place in the Curtis Cup.
The men have also fared well winning the County Team shield 15 times and in 1987 went on to win the EGU Champion Club Competition.
